Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao (Mapúa MCM) has once again demonstrated its dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship by securing a place in the prestigious UI GreenMetric World University Rankings. Mapúa MCM’s inclusion in the rankings, announced on December 12, 2024, is a testament to its continued efforts in promoting green initiatives and sustainable practices. 

The UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, an international benchmarking system that evaluates universities based on their sustainability practices, saw participation from 1,477 institutions across 95 countries this year. Mapúa MCM ranked 49th among higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Philippines and 1,101st globally, highlighting its commitment to fostering a sustainable campus environment. 

This recognition underscores Mapúa MCM’s dedication to integrating sustainability into various aspects of its operations, including infrastructure, energy efficiency, waste management, and environmental education.
