Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao (Mapúa MCM), through the Office for Corporate Partnerships – Center for Career and Placement, successfully conducted the Career and Internship Fair 2026. Reinforcing its commitment to strengthening industry linkages and preparing students for real-world professional environments.

Held last March 17 to 19, 2026, in a hybrid format at the RGBirrey Building and via Zoom, the three-day event brought together a diverse range of industry partners and government agencies to provide students with access to internship opportunities, career pathways, and essential employment services.
The event opened with remarks from Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Engr. Alejandro H. Ballado, Jr., setting the tone for a collaborative and forward-looking engagement between academia and industry. Throughout the fair, students from various programs, particularly incoming 3T interns from ATYCB – Tourism Management, College of Engineering and Architecture, and College of Health Sciences, actively participated in company booths, recruitment activities, and interview sessions conducted by partner organizations.

A wide network of participating companies from sectors such as engineering, construction, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, business process outsourcing, and design showcased available internship roles and engaged directly with students. Both onsite and online partners contributed to the dynamic exchange of opportunities, enabling broader access and participation.

In addition to recruitment activities, the event also featured One-Stop Shop services from key government agencies, including the Social Security System (SSS) and the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), providing students with guidance on employment requirements and documentation processes essential for workforce entry.

The Career and Internship Fair 2026 served as a platform for students to explore career options, strengthen professional connections, and gain insights into industry expectations. Through direct interaction with employers, students were able to better align their academic preparation with real-world demands, enhancing their readiness for internship deployment and future careers.
Through this initiative Mapúa MCM strengthened its Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), the initiative highlights Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao’s continuous efforts to foster meaningful collaborations and deliver industry-relevant education that empowers future professionals.
