Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao, through the Office for Corporate Partnerships – Center for Career and Placement, conducted a Mock Interview ProgramFor incoming 3T interns, providing students with a valuable opportunity to experience real-world hiring processes and strengthen their workplace readiness.

Held virtually via Zoom, the activity brought together students from ATYCB – Tourism Management, College of Engineering and Architecture, and College of Health Sciences (Psychology and Biology), along with representatives from various industry partners. The program aimed to enhance students’ communication, self-presentation, and professional skills through guided interview simulations while equipping them with essential career tools such as résumés, e-portfolios, and application materials.

Industry partners from organizations such as Accenture Inc., Alsons Development and Investment Corporation, Awesome CX by Transcom, Department of Information and Communications Technology XI, Department of Labor and Employment – Region XI, Federal Land Inc., Globe Telecom Inc., Makati Medical Center, San Miguel Brewery Inc., Seek Marketing Partners, Shopping Center Management Corporation, Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation, and Virginia Food, Inc. actively participated by facilitating mock interview sessions and providing constructive feedback to students.

Through direct engagement with industry professionals, students gained practical insights into employer expectations and hiring standards, allowing them to better understand the competencies needed to succeed in their respective fields. The simulations also encouraged adaptability, professionalism, and confidence—key attributes essential for transitioning into the workplace.
