Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao (Mapúa MCM) third-year Bachelor of Arts in Communication students gained firsthand experience in radio broadcasting during a plant visit to DXGO Aksyon Radyo Davao on September 24, 2026, at R. Castillo Street, Agdao, Davao City.

Organized by the College of Arts and Science – BA Communication, the visit provided students with an opportunity to observe and experience actual practices in the media industry, particularly in radio broadcasting. The activity aimed to help students understand the realities of working in a broadcast organization, identify current challenges faced by media practitioners, and explore strategies that enable media organizations to remain resilient and adaptive.

This hands-on experience allowed them to apply communication skills in an actual broadcasting environment while gaining a deeper appreciation of the responsibilities involved in engaging with a live audience.
