Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao (Mapúa MCM) participated in the 2026 Public Employment Service Office Managers Association of the Philippines (PESOMAP) Mid-Year Planning and Assessment (MYPA) held on August 24–25, 2026, at the Apo View Hotel in Davao City, with Ms. Trisha May Menoy representing the institution. The two-day activity brought together Public Employment Service Office (PESO) managers and personnel, Job Placement Officers (JPOs), Department of Labor and Employment XI (DOLE XI) personnel, PESOMAP members, and other employment and workforce development stakeholders from across the Davao Region.

Mapúa MCM’s participation underscored the institution’s commitment to strengthening career placement and employment facilitation initiatives. The activity provided an avenue for the institution to engage with PESOs, JPOs, government agencies, and other employment stakeholders while gaining insights into labor market trends, emerging employment opportunities, and government programs that support workforce development.

The gathering also served as a platform for knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices in job placement and career services. Through discussions on employment programs, labor market information, and career facilitation strategies, participating institutions and organizations were able to identify approaches that can further support jobseekers, students, and graduates as they transition into the workforce.
