Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao (Mapúa MCM) has once again earned international recognition, securing remarkable placements in the 2025 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI). The results were officially announced during the 5th Hanseatic League of Universities Conference held via Zoom on July 11, 2025.
WURI highlights higher education institutions that make real-world contributions through innovative education, research, and community engagement. It aims to recognize universities that go beyond traditional academic metrics and champion transformative, future-focused approaches to teaching and learning.
In this year’s rankings, Mapúa MCM joined the Global Top 400, landing at Rank 295—making it the top-performing HEI in Davao Region (Region XI).
The institution also achieved exceptional rankings in the following key categories:
- B1 – Visionary Leadership – Rank 21 (newly entered category)
- B4 – Culture and Values – Rank 28 (a 65.85% leap from last year’s Rank 82)
- B8 – University Brand and Reputation – Rank 28 (a 45.15% improvement from last year’s Rank 54)
These milestones affirm Mapúa MCM’s continued leadership in delivering education grounded in academic excellence, innovation, and strong moral values—solidifying its reputation as a forward-thinking institution shaping the future of higher education in the region and beyond.
