Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao awarded with the Wiley Digital Recognition Award

21st CENTURY LEARNING AT MapúaMCM: Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao AWARDED WITH THE WILEY DIGITAL EDUCATION RECOGNITION AWARD

Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao together with its sister schools Mapúa University and Malayan Colleges Laguna, was awarded the Wiley Digital Education Recognition Award last January 31, 2021, presented by John Wiley & Sons Singapore Pte Ltd.

The Wiley Digital Education Recognition Award recognizes institutions that are committed to delivering quality digital teaching and learning through utilizing Wiley-related digital resources. In addition, it recognizes institutions that adopt innovative means of education to achieve student success.

The Wiley Digital Education Recognition trophy awarded to Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao.

Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao presently has increased access to over 17,000 titles of Wiley Digital Resources, allowing students and teachers to stay ahead in the new normal through connected learning. 

“The Digital Education Recognition Award is presented to Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao together with its sister companies Mapúa University and Malayan Colleges Laguna, for its progressive usage of Wiley Digital Solutions over the years, for embracing the culture of digital transformation by giving premium to digital technology and providing the learners with equitable and affordable access to learning contents in the delivery of education, and for the high level of collaboration with Wiley in working towards a common goal in the realm of digital teaching and learning.” as stated by Wiley in their awarding speech.

The award acknowledges Engr. Dodjie S. Maestrecampo, MapúaMCM’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer; Mr. Josef Mika-el del Corro, Head of the Innovations in Digital Environments and Learning Solutions (IDEaLS); Ms. Juliet Nacua, Head of the Center for Learning and Information Resources (CLIR);  Ms. Edwina Astrid Cuezon, former Head of the Corporate Communications Office (CCO); as well as all the Deans, Principal, Chairs, and Faculty Members of the MapúaMCM departments.
