Mapúa MCM's Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) Framework

The framework exhibits different activities/processes/academic delivery services that were identified to be of primary importance in the attainment of the course outcomes (COs), student outcomes (SOs), and program educational objectives (PEOs) for each of Mapúa MCM’s program offerings. Thus, the said framework can be viewed as a system of continuous quality improvement (CQI) and evaluation (under different committees) of the different levels of outcomes to be achieved in the different programs of the institution. Consequently, the inherent system of CQI and evaluation of Mapúa MCM’s OBE framework further reflects a tacit recognition of the institution’s relentless pursuit of the improvement and effectiveness of its academic delivery.

Flipped Learning

The Flipped Learning Model is a blended learning subtype that hinges on the process of introducing students to the learning content – either through pre-recorded lecture videos or other necessary learning materials – before working through the lessons with their teachers in class. This method is part of our commitment to world class education. At Mapúa MCM, Flipped Learning aligns with our principles of outcome-based education by carrying instructions from a group to an individual learning space.
