Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao Strengthens Commitment to Quality Education at PACU 2025 National Conference

Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao (Mapúa MCM) further strengthened its commitment to educational excellence and collaboration as it was officially recognized as a member of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU) during the PACU Annual General Assembly and National Conference held on September 27, 2025, at the Makati Diamond Residences, Makati City.

The annual event gathered leaders and representatives from higher education institutions across the country to discuss emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in Philippine higher education. It also served as the official venue to acknowledge Mapúa MCM’s membership in PACU, affirming the institution’s shared vision of advancing quality, innovation, and inclusivity in higher education.

Key discussions during the conference centered on academic freedom, workforce development, and leadership in higher education, with insightful presentations from Dr. Karol Mark R. Yee (EDCOM 2), Atty. Joseph Noel M. Estrada(COCOPEA), Dr. Rhodora Angela F. Ferrer (PEAC), and Dr. Edizon A. Fermin (NTC). These conversations underscored the importance of collaboration, policy development, and knowledge-sharing in strengthening the country’s educational system.

The event aligns closely with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and policy development that enhance the quality and relevance of higher education in the Philippines.
