Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao (Mapúa MCM) continues to uphold its commitment to educational quality and institutional excellence through the DNV ISO 21001:2018 P1 Audit held from October 1 to 3, 2025, at the institution’s Accreditation Room. Conducted after its initial re-certification in 2024, the audit is part of a two-year evaluation cycle ensuring continuous compliance with international educational standards.

Organized by the Quality Assurance and Enhancement Office (QAEO) together with DNV-AS Philippines, the three-day activity served as an essential evaluation process to ensure consistent compliance with the Educational Organization Management Systems (EOMS). The standard focuses on enhancing educational experience, improving institutional processes, and ensuring that learning environments remain responsive, inclusive, and globally aligned.

Department heads from different academic and administrative units were present, reflecting Mapúa MCM’s collaborative approach to quality assurance and continuous improvements.

The audit started with an opening meeting on October 1, wherein the DNV auditor  explained the scope of the audit, audit methodology and reporting and confirmed the audit plan which included agreed Focus Areas. It concluded on October 3, during which audit findings, recommendations, and next steps were presented.

Through this initiative, Mapúa MCM reaffirms its unwavering dedication to delivering transformative education and fostering continuous institutional growth—ensuring that quality remains at the heart of its mission.

This milestone also reflects the institution’s active support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) by upholding academic excellence, SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) through inclusive and equitable learning opportunities, SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by nurturing resilient and impactful educational environments, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening collaboration with national and global quality assurance and academic organizations.
