Institutional initiative of Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao that connects students with industry partners through career talks, mock interviews, and internship opportunities.
Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao (Mapúa MCM), through its Center for Career and Placement (CCP), successfully conducted the Career and Internship Fair (CIP) on November 13-14, 2025, via Zoom. The two-day virtual event is intended for the student-interns enrolled in the 2nd Term of Academic Year 2025-2026, as well as interested alumni.
Representing the Alfonso T. Yuchengco College of Business (ATYCB) were students from BS in Accountancy, BS in Management Accounting, and BS in Tourism Management. From the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), participants came from BA Communication and Bachelor in Multimedia Arts. The College of Computer and Information Science (CCIS) was represented by students from BS Computer Science, BS Information Systems, and BS Entertainment and Multimedia Computing. The Career and Internship Fair aimed to connect students and applicants with industry partners for internship and employment opportunities while strengthening professional readiness through direct industry engagement.

With over 332 enrolled students in the 2nd Term, participants engaged with partner organizations including Alsons Development and Investment Corporation, Ana’s Breeder Farm, Inc., Claro Vista Career Consultancy Services, Cure Philippines, Inc., Department of Labor and Employment XI, European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, Flux Design Labs, Inc. Ltd. Rezonate / Graphic Design & Animation, Flatworld Solutions, Globe Telecommunications, Inc., Hijo Resources Corporation, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board XI, Mula Multimedia OPC, Nippon Paint (Coatings) Philippines Inc., Odd Games Philippines Inc., Ollopa Corporation, Omni Aviation Corporation, RMS Collect – an iQor Company, SM Supermalls – Shopping Center Management Corporation, SPIK Chemical Industries Association of the Philippines, Telemondo Solutions and General Services Inc., Turnkey Processing LLC / Remarkablism Services Corp, VXI Global Holdings B.V. (Philippines), and Winder Recycling Company. These companies represent diverse sectors such as business processes outsourcing, real estate and property development, hospitality management, government services, and multimedia and entertainment.
The program opened with welcoming remarks from Dean Jose Paolo Y. Mack, of the Alfonso T. Yuchengco College of Business (ATYCB), who emphasized the importance of meaningful collaboration between the academe and industry in shaping students’ career pathways.

Partner companies participated virtually, providing access to internship placements and initial screening processes. Students and applicants were able to communicate directly with company representatives, submit applications, and participate in interviews, creating a seamless and accessible career-matching experience. Industry partners likewise had the opportunity to identify potential candidates and support youth employability initiatives.
Through its strategic implementation, the Career and Internship Fair further strengthened Mapúa MCM’s efforts to align academic preparation with workplace readiness with the use of the Mapúa MCM Career Hub, the institution’s official career and professional platform for job opportunities and career development.
With a total of thirty-three (33) participating employers and approximately 600 internship opportunities across various industries. Students were also able to explore and engage directly with employers through initial interviews, gain insights into industry expectations, and identify potential placements aligned with their academic programs and career interests.
