In a continuous pursuit of global engagement and academic excellence, Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao (Mapúa MCM) conducted an internationalization benchmarking visit at Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (Mapúa MCL) last July 16, 2025.
Representing Mapúa MCM was Katrina Andrea D. Diligencia, International Programs Associate under the Office for Corporate Partnerships – Center for International Programs. The visit aimed to learn and adopt best practices in internationalization, particularly in the areas of student and faculty mobility, global partnerships, and alignment with CHED processes.

Hosted by Mapúa MCL, the benchmarking session was attended by key figures in the Mapúa network’s international relations and partnerships, including James Ronald O. Mesina, Assistant Vice President of the Office of External Relations and Global Linkages; Ms. Pearl Stephanie DL. Ulep, Director of the Office for Strategic Partnerships and Global Engagement; Cyril P. Gonzales, Head of Industry Engagement of Mapúa University; Clarice Adrianne Verzosa, International Relations Associate; and Ivana Ruth Vidal, Program Assistant of the Office for Strategic Partnerships and Global Engagement.
The agenda focused on the enhancement of student global experiences through exchange programs, expansion of faculty mobility opportunities, and the streamlining of internationalization processes guided by CHED requirements.
This collaborative effort reflects Mapúa MCM’s ongoing commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4 – Quality Education and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals by building strong institutional ties and expanding global networks for its students and faculty.
