In its pursuit to enhance educational quality and global competitiveness, Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao recently hosted a series of orientations and workshops focusing on the importance and benefits of both local accreditations Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA), PCS Information and Computing Accreditation Board (PICAB), and Philippines Technological Council – Accreditation and Certification Board for Engineering and Technology (PTC-ACBET) and international assessment ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA).
The 2-day event took place on February 19 – 20, 2024, at the Mapúa MCM Learning Commons, with reputable resource speakers, Mr. Cesar C. Coronado, the Continuous Quality Improvement Office Director of Mapúa University, and Mr. Ariel Kelly D. Balan, Dean of School of Information Technology of Mapúa University, brought together administrators and educators to explore accreditation processes and best practices.
Participants were provided with workshops and orientations by the resource speakers, creating a collaborative environment for sharing ideas and experiences.
