On December 7, 2019, the first-ever interschool Coding Challenge and Mobile Legends Competition was held at Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao, spearheaded by the College of Computing and Information Science (CCIS) for their CCIS Week celebration. Rhodessa Cascaro, CCIS Dean, is looking forward to hosting more interschool competitions in the future.

“The purpose is to gather senior high school students to give them the experience in coding and gaming in our environment at Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao, and to give them exposure to our equipment and facilities. Yes, we are looking forward to having more interschool competitions in the near future. We have received positive feedback from the students. They will be coming back for more, for sure.”
