MapúaMCMxLabster: MapúaMCM, One of the First Schools in the Philippines to Provide Online 3D Laboratories to Students
Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao, A Mapúa School, has partnered with Labster, one of the leading software companies in Denmark, developing virtual laboratory simulations that use technology from computer gaming and research on the psychology of learning.
The partnership will be MapúaMCM students’ access to 140+ virtual 3D, online laboratory simulations in General Biology, General Chemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Cellular, and Molecular Biology, Organic Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering. Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao is one of the first private schools in the Philippines to do this.

Such a partnership will prove fruitful to the students of MapúaMCM acquiring the capability to carry out specific tasks in a lab setting. Due to quarantine, students are limited to being physically present during laboratory work. Thanks to Labster, students will be able to experience a variety of laboratory skills from the safety of their homes.
MapúaMCM has also integrated access to Labster through its learning management systems known as MapúaMCM Digital, to offer a more personalized and flexible learning experience for its students.
