The Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao College of Computing and Information Science (MapúaMCM CCIS), in partnership with Smart Communications and together with the Office for Student Services, hosted “CCIS eSports 2020” last November 27 until December 2, 2020.

Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao, together with its sister schools, Mapúa University, Malayan High School of Science, Malayan Colleges Laguna, APEC Schools, University of Nueva Caceres, and National Teachers College, for the first-ever virtual Christmas Tree Lighting Event and Concert last December 2, 2020, with the theme “Igniting a Spark of Hope” hosted via Facebook Live.

Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao, A Mapúa School, has recently partnered with the Don Antonio O. Floirendo, Sr. Foundation (AOF Foundation), to provide scholarships to the MapúaMCM students. Engr. Dodjie S. Maestrecampo, EVP/COO of MapúaMCM, and Mr. Norman L. Clemente, Executive Director of the AOF Foundation, signed the memorandum of agreement last November 12, 2020.

Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao, A Mapúa School, recently received a donation of 25 framed art prints of original paintings and drawings from Dr. Teody Boylie “Bong” Perez for the Art Donation Project under the 2020 Competitive Grants Program of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) last November 16, 2020.

MapúaMCM is the first school in Mindanao to partner with the School of Agility, Grit, and Entrepreneurship (SAGE) through YMCA of Davao, Inc. & Makati last October 12 until October 30, 2020, bringing an interactive masterclass program to its students as aspiring entrepreneurs, taught personally by renowned CEOs from all over the globe.

MapúaMCM participated in the fourth installment of the 29th Mindanao Business Conference last October 23, 2020, where the key topics were the challenges and opportunities in the Halal industry, especially in Mindanao, hosted by the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (DCCCII).
